A young man, Mimis, leaves his village to go to Athens, because a big tourist company is destroying his area in order to build hotels and he want to avoid becoming a waiter. With the few money he gets from the expropriation, heas to work and make a living. The mentality though of a small time farmer that is carrying a life that doesn’t allow him to compromise with this new reality. He prefers to go to the capital and make his own luck. A friend from the army, Aristidism who lives with his wife, his kid, in-laws and his wife’s sister, Toula, working with a motorcycle in delivery, helps him in his first steps in Athens.
