A young, modern, father and his beautiful wife have a problematic child. It is suffering from mongolism. In front of danger that could ruin their lives, raising a child that has not hope in becoming a normal person, and after the advice given to them by friends and family, they decide on euthanasia. Since the state and laws denies solving such problems in this way, the only thing left to do is give the child water instead of milk. Thus the child will slowly die and no doctor will be able to diagnose how it died, and they will be off the hook. The duration of the euthanasia and the fact that they took the life of their child lives on them a stigma. They might have escaped the laws of society but they can’t stop thinking of themselves as murderers...
